Fear breeds fucked up thoughts, which leads to fucked up actions. If further instilled, it results in fucked up mental conditioning and fucked up habits. All this can be simply solved with a conscious mind. Simply, not easily. A fucked up mind doesn't stay conscious or think clearly.
Stagnation or inertia to grow occurs just because of being afraid to lose. This deepens into a whole habit of being numb to the object of fear, where the fear is the cause and effect of habit.
